About
Dr. Sarah Weber is a licensed psychologist and licensed professional counselor who provides psychological assessment services through Arbor Hills Psychological Services. She earned her Master of Arts in Counseling and School Counseling from Siena Heights University and her Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from the Michigan School of Psychology.
 
Dr. Weber provides psychological assessment for concerns including ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and diagnostic clarification. She works collaboratively with individuals and referral sources to clarify the questions that prompted the evaluation and to determine an appropriate assessment plan.
Her approach extends beyond test scores or diagnostic labels. Dr. Weber considers cognitive, emotional, behavioral, relational, developmental, medical, and environmental factors to develop an integrated understanding of the whole person. She emphasizes identifying strengths alongside areas of difficulty and providing practical recommendations that can be meaningfully applied in everyday life.
 
Clinical Background and Areas of Focus
Dr. Weber’s training included neuropsychology, integrated primary care, rehabilitation, psychological assessment, and Veterans’ healthcare. Her clinical interests include attention and executive functioning, autism spectrum disorder, trauma, chronic pain, rehabilitation psychology, women’s mental health, pregnancy and postpartum mental-health concerns, and the interaction between physical and psychological health.
During her doctoral internship with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Dr. Weber became certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy and Guided Imagery. She also has experience facilitating grief-support and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Chronic Pain groups. Her extensive psychotherapy background allows her to approach assessment with clinical depth, compassion, and an appreciation for the lived experiences behind the evaluation results.
 
Dr. Weber has served individuals and families in the Jackson community since 2001. Her professional experience began in domestic-violence advocacy and child-abuse prevention and has expanded to include community mental health, psychotherapy, psychological assessment, integrated healthcare, Veterans’ services, and graduate education.
