About
Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development through Central Michigan University (CMU) in 2017. During her time at CMU, she completed an internship at the Isabella County Child Advocacy Center. Additionally, she studied abroad in Oaxaca, Mexico where she volunteered at two orphanages. She furthered her experience by obtaining a position at the Branch Intermediate School district in Head Start and GSRP classrooms. This allowed her to apply her formal education with a population she enjoys. She graduated from Western Michigan University (WMU) with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology (2021). While at WMU, she completed a practicum within Kalamazoo Public Schools, counseling children kindergarten through fifth grade via teletherapy. She completed her graduate level internship with Arbor Hills Psychological Services immediately prior to joining their team.
Areas of Focus
She specializes in psychological evaluations of individuals across the lifespan concerning diagnosis and treatment, as well as guardianship and competency. Regarding counseling, she concentrates her work with children, adolescents, and young adults. She uses various therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy.
