Hannah Sinkovitz, M.A
Hannah is a licensed professional counselor who graduated with her Masters in clinical mental health counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2017. She completed her BA in psychology at Spring Arbor University in 2012. When Hannah is not at the office she is enjoying time with her husband & three kids. As a family they enjoy outdoor adventuring, playing board games, & visiting with friends. When Hannah has time to relax she enjoys a good dance party, exercising, reading about holistic health, & watching documentaries in the company of her two cats.
Areas of Focus
Hannah’s therapeutic approach is collaborative & client-centered. She has experience working with anxiety disorders, depression, relationship difficulties, attachment wounds, life transitions, trauma & abuse histories, addictions, betrayal trauma, grief & loss, crisis intervention, self-worth & body image issues. Hannah primarily works with women & adolescents.
Hannah creates an environment of emotional trust & safety. This allows clients to lean into their present discomfort towards growth & greater understanding. Based on each individual client’s needs, Hannah utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches & techniques. Some of these approaches include emotion focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, & experiential therapy. Hannah is able to provide faith based counseling from a Christian perspective & respects the unique belief systems of each client.
