Joell earned a master’s degree in Psychology from Western Michigan University. She is a limited-licensed psychologist in the State of Michigan. Joell has been identified as an expert witness in juvenile and adult courts. She has been a guest speaker in university settings on a variety of topics including typologies of juvenile and adult sex offenders, violence assessment, and chronically mentally ill.
Additional experience includes five years of academic appointments.
